Hello out there!!! We have been a busy little family lately! Tom finished up his first year of teaching, my sister Dana graduated, then my other sister Kari got married last weekend. It has been more than a little hectic around here. We've had lots of visitors and lots of events to attend. Tom is actually gone this weekend on a manly getaway with his brother, dad, friend, and cousin to Lake Cumberland. They are doing manly things like boating, playing cards, and drinking beer. Jemma and I are hanging out and relaxing after our crazy couple of weeks. Sometimes it's really nice to just sit at home!
Tom has gotten to be Mr. Mom since he has been home, and it has been really nice to have him around all the time! He cooks and cleans and takes care of the baby, and it is awesome to come home to that!!! Jemma is really getting to spend a lot of time with him too, which is good for them. More baby daddy bonding is always good! She loves her daddy. He tickles her and she giggles and they play a lot. She really enjoys that. She loves to cuddle up on me, but she prefers to play with her dad. It is so amazing to watch the interaction between them. I just love it. Tom is a wonderful father.
Jemma is a growing little bean. She is 15 lbs, 4 oz and 25 1/2 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile for height and weight! She can roll to either side, but hasn't figured out rolling all the way to her tummy yet. She sits with just a teeny bit of support, too. I've decided to start baby proofing the house as I am anticipating her to begin rolling around soonish. I can't believe she is getting so big!!!
